Here at SeveredData, I strive to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels safe and included, regardless of their individual identity. I support all types of people, including people of color and the LGBTQIA2S+ community. This is coming from me, a transgender woman, who believes in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) for everyone. I also support black and LGBTQIA2S+ businesses, organizations, and non-profits, as they help bring joy to people like me and also protect us from hateful discrimination. Speaking of which...
Wanna know something? Well, guess what? All discrimination is banned and won't be tolerated on my platform. Support that orange freak? Go somewhere else. I don't believe in cults like MAGA. Wanna spread hate and misinformation about minorities? You shouldn't be doing that anyway, so get outta here! I do try to keep my community as hate-free as possible, but with the amount of discrimination people like me face just for being themselves, and the dumb, orange fascist running our country right now, it's becoming increasingly difficult to maintain the inclusive environment I strive to have. That's why we need to work together and prove we are humans just like the rest of us!
This Pride Month, in June, SeveredData not only celebrates and embraces people of all backgrounds but also reflects on the important history that helped make it happen. Remember the Stonewall Riots of 1969? It was when police stormed the Stonewall Inn, a gay bar that was a safe haven for gay, lesbian, and transgender individuals, and it led to six days of riots, which became a pivoting point in LGBTQIA2S+ history. Today, while you may feel like you're alone at times, just know that isn't true, as you have tons of supportive people and organizations to turn to, like me. We still have a long fight ahead of us, but luckily, we're not alone. Together, we will fight for our rights and be who we truly are!
